Muni Bus Hits Two Pedestrians

According to officials, a Muni bus was involved in an accident that injured two people near Ghirardelli Square early Sunday morning. Both pedestrians were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Spokespeople from MUNI said that the accident occurred near the corner of North Point and Hyde streets around 2:10 a.m.
A female pedestrian sustained a head injury and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, while the male suffered an injury to his knee.
The bus No. 8809 was following the 19 Polk line when it was involved in the accident.
The investigation will be conducted through the department's Hit and Run Division, despite the fact that the collision was not a hit-and-run.
