According to San Francisco police Officer Mike Celis, one man was killed in San Francisco today when a pedestrian was struck by vehicle.
The fatal accident was reported at 11:49 a.m. in the area of Sixth and Brannan Streets.
Celis said the victim, a 28-year-old man whose name has not been released, was struck by a red Camaro or Mustang.
The driver fled the scene in the vehicle after the collision and is still at large.
The victim sustained major head trauma and died of his injuries.
