Accident Shuts Down Freeway

At least one person was injured after a Sunday afternoon traffic accident that left Highway 101 shut down through San Rafael for several hours.

The accident happened aroung 1:00 p.m. Sunday near the Lucas Valley Road exit.

Investigators say the accident involved a pickup truck and a compact car that left the car upside down.

Investigators continue to look into the cause of the wreck.
